I'm wondering if there's a way to show the file name under each image in any of the views? I swear I saw the file name under some of my images before, but now can't find a way to do it again. Or maybe I'm confusing Aperture with iPhoto?

Hi Debbie
You can show metadata below the image with Y and Shf-Y; just what metadata you display in each of the two views can be set in View, Metadata Display, Customize.

Kind of small type for me to read. If you know….
How do you change the font size, or style?
Can you move the metadata?
Add or change to the first line limited of ISO, f/stop, shutter, ev?
Thanks.
kiss,
hmm, seem’s you’re right… there’s a limited amount of rearranging the data you can do in there.

kiss,
You can’t change the font size unfortunately. However you can rearrange the order that data is displayed by rearranging them in this list [screenshot] which you get to from theEdit menu under the Metadata button [screenshot].

Thanks Joseph, I tried those previously. I just wanted to see something large, like LR shows as a overlay to the photo, especially the file number and ext to show if RAW. I guess there is no way to replace the first line of f/stop and ISO with file name?
Thanks for the help!
