When I give an image a color code in Aperture 3.4.5, the color dot shows up as it should in the Info pane HUD but not under the image in the Browser as it did in my previous version. I like to see the color codes under the images in the Browser but cannot find a Preference to make this happen. Anyone help?
I haven’t upgraded to Aperture 3.4.5 yet, but is it possible the metadata display options got munged? See if “Label” is still listed in your metadata views (View -> Metadata Display -> Customize).

Thanks, Scott. I ran through your suggestion and discovered I had selected “Label” in the metadata view but had neglected to indicate “show extended view.” Color labels will show in the browser window in “extended view” but not in”basic view.” I’m quite new to Aperture and am still learning about all the different ways to access options and parameters. You and others on this forum are life savers!
