DxO Viewpoint and PS lens profiles #1

Hi Guys,

Only took up PS and DxO Viewpoint last year,

Last night I did some editing in PS ACR and thought I would try out the new corrections by using the lens profile, soon found out that the only way to do this was to go into Aperture and export the original. I was able to access the lens profile but the Original NEF was one with no edits! I can get it back in to Aperture but have to re-edit

Even with a tiff or PSD I was unable to access the lens profile option in PS,

Is there another way? Or do I have to to sort all perspective corrections and lens profile adjustments prior any editing in Aperture?

….Gary

If you’re using PS CC (and maybe PS CS6), lens correction is available under Filters when you use PS as an external editor. An alternative would be to use something like Catapult, but you’re still winding up with an edited end TIFF or PSD. Aperture doesn’t read RAW file edits done on other programs.
