Filtering 1 star ONLY #1

With Ctrl 1  (2 to 5) I can quickly filter ratings 1 and better.

BUT often I need a filter for 1 (2 to 5) stars ONLY, and therefore I’d like to have a shortcut for this.

Is there on I don’t know or can I define shortcuts by myself?

I agree that would be handy. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to assign a shortcut key within Aperture (at least as far as I can tell).

To assign keyboard shortcuts using Aperture’s command Editor, a command must exist. Unfortunately, as you know, the existing command “Filter by 1 Star” etc., really means “Filter by 1 or More Stars”.  And there isn’t a command for “Filter by Rating Is 1 Star” so we are out of luck.

The only way to do it is click your way through the Filter HUD. There might be some way to do it using Keyboard Maestro or the equivalent, but in my experience Aperture’s reactions to keyboard macros isn’t very reliable.

Thanks very much!

So let’s hope, that such things will be solved in 4.0 :-)
