Gradients adjustments - such a thing? #1

I’m new to Aperture and I have been a long time user of Adobe Bridge and camera raw adjustments. Bridge wasn’t doing for me in terms of organization of my photos and I felt Lightroom would be too redundant with Photoshop.
What I do like about Adobe Camera Raw is the ability to apply gradient adjustments. Is there such a thing in Aperture or am I missing something? It seems the only work around would be to continue in ACR and generate a TIFF when I’m done and then work with that in Aperture.
Thanks for any help.

Ken,

You an brush adjustments in and out, and so actually paint in a gradient, but unfortunately there’s no direct gradient tool when altering the adjustments.

In nearly any adjustment brick, apply the adjustment that you want and then click the brush icon to open the brush tool—from there you can paint the effect in or out of your photo.
