Grey screen in Viewer mode... #1

I am randomly getting a grey screen in Viewer mode with only the metadata showing across the bottom.

When I switch to Bowser mode I can see all the thumbnail images once again but back to grey screen when I return to Viewer mode.

The Loupe shows the image inside of itself but grey around in Viewer mode.

Quitting and restarting Aperture let's me once again sees the images in Viewer mode till it happens the next time and then I have to restart again.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks for taking the time.

I am on 3.3.1 and have tried the repair and rebuild of the Aperture library.

I will try your new library suggestion and if that works import the old library.

I updated my 2011 MacBook Pro HD to the Seagate Hybrid Momentus XT and plan to use my old hard rive for photos.

Your Instagram link in the SITE NOTICE didn’t seem to work for me.

Enjoy your European vacation and Congratulations!

Cheers!

Sounds like an old issue. Are you up-to-date; Aperture 3.3.1?

If so, create a new library and see if you can recreate the problem there. If not, it’s library specific, so run a repair on the problem. Check the FAQ for instructions if you aren’t already familiar with how.
