I am a new aperture user; been using iPhoto primarily for importing RAWs, but see the value of the available tools in aperture.

I opened my iPhoto library with no problems; but would like to import photos into aperture so I can access metadata etc like “show focus point”. I can import images individually and this works fine; it's just when I look at images already imported in iPhoto data such as show focus points doesn't show up.

Suggestions?
