Hi I have been using Aperture for many years and have always shot RAW files on Canon.  When I import the RAW files, Aperture always shows me the thumbnails under the different view modes.  However, I am recently shooting  JPEG and whenI import those files Aperture does not show me the thumbnails.  I have to go manually into Generate Thumbnails.   Why doesnt Aperture automatically show me the thumbnails?  Thanks in advance!
