Limit Libraries Seen in Switch Library Command #1

As well as using Vaults, I also make backup copies of my libraries as well as using Time Machine and Mozy to back everything up.
When I use the Switch To Library command, both the primary and backup libraries are shown in the dialog which can get confusing. Is there any way to tell Aperture to ignore the libraries in the Backup directory?

Jamie,

Not that I’ve ever seen. It appears that now Aperture scans all your attached hard drives looking for Libraries (I was surprised to find some old ones I’d forgotten about in the nether-regions of my drives!).

Anyway I’d suggest adding a designator the backup versions, like -BAK the the name, so you know at a glance. Or, put the backups on a drive that’s only turned on when you’re backing up to it?

Not ideal, I understand, but again as far as I know there’s no way to limit what you see in that library chooser list.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I figured that that was the case but thought if anyone would know it would be you.
