Hi Guys,
I have made the transition to LR, every thing working OK but still have some questions?
1. I have a zillion images siting in Aperture trash, how do I delete them? I have got rid of the images in photos, (old iPhoto images}, but need to clean out the trash in Aperture
2. Should I uninstall Aperture, or just leave it there, if so, how do I uninstall Aperture?
……..Gary
I would not uninstall Aperture for now. I’m personally keeping Aperture alive until I decide to upgrade to Apple’s next OS X. I’m still holding off on migrating some of them to Photos. I deleted my rejected images from Aperture then deleted them from the trash just before my transition to Lr by the usual method of right clicking on the trash bin then on “Empty Trash.” It was a little scary but I got over it quite quickly once they were gone :)

Tks Florian
Well, I still have Aperture, now have cleared the 8000 previews, now all blank, have also cleaned up Photos as well,
Now that the SSD is free of unnecessary previews and images, (all LR images are on external HDD’s, I have approx. 600GB free so I guess I should just leave Aperture alone

I have a photographic memory but never got it developed
Gary, Glad to be of help
