Guys,
I have just move a 90GB managed library from my macbook to an iMac. I have run a repair of permission and it seems that it works quite well on the iMac.
Before to start to modify the moved DB, will you advise me some other cleanup activities (except backups of cours :) )
Thanks in advance for advise,
Joe
Joe! you say you already moved the images to new iMac and all is working? Then you are good to go! Only need to do tweaks or cleanups if something is not working. Applications … Utilities … Disk Utilities I run probably once a month.
Make a smart Album in AP for missing images or off Line images. If all is there then you are in Bliss.
Just reread you Q. You said you ran permissions and repair… I assumed that was Aperture (AP) and not disk Utilities running both is good. Rebuild in AP if you have troubles. Hope that was clear Cheers dbm

Hi DBMoore,
Yep you are right it was aperture tool. I was getting a permission error when opening the library after the transfer. So have run it - certainly due to different account setup between the 2 macs.
I will check for the missing images. thanks for the trick!
