Just purchased a  new IMAC. I have used Aperture for years. I want to continue using this app. and gradually transition to LR . I have been told that Aperture is no longer in the Apple App. store. How do I download onto my new Mac? Will Time Machine let transfer my apps. from this 2011 Mac to the new one, or is there another way to get it?

Log on to the App Store, but go to “Purchases”. You should be able to download Aperture from there.

You might try to start your old mac in FW target mode and copy it.

I was able to download Aperture from my purchases, but when I import RAW images from my Nikon D750 I can edit them in RAW. Anyone know where I can download the Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.01?

Thanks

It should install automatically when you run SW update. In fact it will install the latest which is 6.06 as of today which will cover all the previous cameras as well.

Instructions here.
