I was playing with the updated Nik Analog Efex Pro 2 during lunch. Pretty slick all around. One of the features in it is lens distortion. It doesn’t have any presets, but does allow you to easily add…or remove….lens distortion, including barrel distortion. Simply eyeballing an image, I was able to essentially achieve the same amount of correction that lens correction in PS CC and Lr5 applies.
It’s not an autocorrect like it is in Lr5, but it works pretty well.
I’ve had a play Charles and it looks great. I have a slight issue whereby it crashes Aperture when I try to round-trip through AFX2. Has anyone seen this?

I had a number of issues using Nik Plug-ins including Analog Efex Pro 2. So today I uninstalled and reinstalled the Nik Collections. Now all seems to be running ok. So how I think it may have become corrupted.

The update fails to install the actual application or the pref file needs to be edited. Try re-installing the collection (download the trial from the google/nik page).
