ON1 RAW 2017 was released just before Christmas. For me it looks very promising as an Aperture replacement. It has a lot of nice features and a lot of promised features. The ON1 community is also being solicited for future enhancement and feature suggestions. It’s refreshing that the product users can help set future direction. Its keywording capabilities when compared to Aperture is rudimentary at best, as is its ability to build complex search filters and smart albums. If they can deliver in these areas I can make the move away from Aperture.
