Running out of disk space on internal drive, exporting photos on external drive #1

Hi,

I have an aperture library (3.5.1 on os 10.9.1) on an external drive. I am exporting photos from that library to the same drive. I’ve verified the photos are indeed exporting to that same drive. However, I started with 48GB of free space on my internal drive, and got the warning that I was out of space. Now it is saying there is less than 1GB of space on the internal drive.

Is there a cache file somewhere that could become corrupt or something?

How do you come to suspect that Aperture is the culprit if your Library and your exported files are all on the external drive? Aperture does not cache them on the internal drive. I’m guessing you have something else filling up your internal drive.
