A few seconds after selecting Export from the slideshow creation area the message Export complete appears. But no file has been created and nothing happens on selecting Reveal in Finder. It doesn’t matter how big or small the slideshow is or what format is selected for export. The system was working perfectly well and I had created some rather large (5.9 GB) mov files when the problem arose ‘out of the blue’. I had made no system changes. All the other export functions in Aperture continue to work correctly.

My setup is a 2009 iMac with 8 GB RAM running on Yosemite and Aperture 3.6.

I have tried all the suggestions on the Apple Support troubleshooting page without success. Even reinstalling Aperture 3.6 (with the help of Lèonie on the Apple Support Forum, where I have also posted this issue) didn’t solve the problem. 

Any ideas what might lie behind this?
