I have recently merged an iphoto library into my main aperture library. I have the originals backed up an a hard drive and I am reorganising image versions into their relevant folders. When each project has been reorganised I am storing them in another folder, so that I can see which projects have been organised and which ones haven't. As I finish with a project, I drag it up into the “Finished” folder, for the first couple of projects, this worked fine and they are in the folder, however now, everytime I drag the project into the “finished” folder, aperture seems to be creating duplicates as the project remains in it's original place and a new identical project appears in the “finished” folder. If I try to delete either of them it warns me that “ome versions based on these original files are included in albums outside of the selection.” I have run aperture repair, and it has made no difference. I would really appresciate any help you may be able to offer.
