Hi everyone, I just landed here since I’ve been looking for different places for help but I couldn’t get any so far.

I just had a nasty surprise discovering a big portion of my backup files went unreadable, both on mac and pc, and both on basic and professional apps (LR, PS…). All those files got unexpectedly changed at the same date  and I can’t explain why. 

What I can provide though is an example of one of these pictures, with its original copy (link below). Opening both of them with a text editor shows quite some differences, but that’s as far as I can go with an explanation : is there any way to fix those files ?

Could you please have a look at those and share your expertise and advice with me ? Thanks a lot folks !
