Joseph

As you have suggested I am posting in this forum.

Since purchasing Aperture Inspector 1.0 from the old MacCreat I have not be able to upgrade past 1.1.

Downloaded your newest version 1.5 however it just would not install. So I decided to just uninstall the older version (1.1) and was able to install 1.5. Did have to first turn off security features in order to install. Seems that Apple does not recognize your software App. No real big deal.

Now my old serial number from MacCreat does not work so I assume I will need to purchase a new one.

The other problem is that after nearly two hours the Inspector is still reading the Aperture Library. There are around 43,000 images in the Library on an external 1TB USB 3 drive and running on a MacBook Pro 15” Retina with 16GB Ram. Is this normal to be taking this long?

Best,

Stu

Stuart,

Ah I don’t think I realized that you were on a MacCreate serial number. If you told me that and I missed it, I apologize.

As you know MacCreate is closed and our company is not their company, however we are honoring all MacCreate purchases of Aperture Inspector. If you can send proof of purchase or just the old serial number to joseph@ApertureExpert.com I will issue you a new serial number.

Once you’ve upgraded we can troubleshoot if there are still problems.

Hi Joseph,

Ok just wanted to inform you that after you sent the updated information all seems to run ok now. Was able to get it downloaded and installed. Looks like my issues turns out that it may have been I was coming from when I purchased Inspector from MacCreat when they where around. Only issue I had, was the fact I had to turn off Security setting as Apple did not recognize that App. It read through my Aperture Library in about 90 seconds which consists of nearly 43,000 (830GB) images.

Thanks again for resolving this issue.

Best,

Stu
