From the show floor at WPPI 2015 in Las Vegas…
Have you ever seen a picture where only part of it is moving? That's a “cinemagraph”, or a “living picture”. It can be pretty darn cool, and an effective marketing tool. Flixel is on the WPPI show floor at the Panasonic booth (and likely elsewhere) showing off what they can do with Cinemagraph Pro.
The cinemagraph in the video below is made by Giulio Sciorio; I'll have to try to get him to write about it on this site. It's fun stuff!
You can buy the app for both OS X and iOS; check out Cinemagraph Pro for OS X for $199.99 and Flixel Cinemagraph Pro for iOS for free, with a $49.99 in-app purchase to unlock full potential.

$200 for this one trick pony? Wow.

Yep, luckily I got it for 14€, when they started at the AppStore.

It may be a one trick pony, but it's a pretty cool trick… and way, way easier than doing it in After Effects. If you sell the results to a client (like the one above, which was for an international brand), it'll pay for itself instantly.
