I shot over 300 images today & downloaded them into Aperture. While making adjustments to some of the images, Aperture froze up twice. The last time was right after I updated the vault. I had to “Force Quit” the program the 1st time. The last time my iMac froze up too. It appears Apple didn't get all of the bugs out before releasing this upgrade.
Check out the FAQ here on this site for maintenance of the data base. One of the things is rebuilding and repairing the database. might have to be done after a couple of crashes! I think its better to build new vaults than convert to new Aperture upgrades. Might take longer though. Cheers

Thanks for the response. I did look at the FAQ’s yesterday morning & followed the instructions you provided to Paul Evans on June 6th. Since then, Aperture has behaved normally.
