Over a year ago, the Google Nik Collection (formerly of Nik Software) became free. Before that it was $150 from Google, and before that, it was something like $500 from Nik Software. It was always one of the best tools in the industry and their control points are still second to none! We all speculated when it went free that this marked the end of the road for it, and sadly, that is now officially true.

It's official, I'm afraid…

I don't actually know when this announcement went up on the Nik website (this may be old news!), but I just saw it today. 

We'll light a candle for ya, Nik. You had a great run and will be missed.
