Hi all,

I have downloaded an installed Aperture Inspector 1.2. Then I dragged my Aperture Library on it and let it run. After one night I still saw the spinning wheel and the message that it is reading the Library file. My library is 7,23 GB. I quit the program and restarted. Now it is running for another hour and the wheel keeps spinning. Is this still OK? I'm on a 2,6 GHZ i7 Macbook Pro. Thanks for your advice.

Hi Ulrich

Usually the process does not take more than one hour, and that is only if you have an enormous lbrary. WIth a small library i.e. less than 20K images it only takes a few minutes.

If you open “activity monitor” and see how much CPU Aperture inspector uses - it should be about 100% of one CPU if things are ok. If it is lower it has probably closed down due to an error.

If this is the case we suggest you try the cleaning-process here, and then try to run the app again after that.
