Export (from any DAM) to Photos in One Click

Do you use Lightroom, Aperture, Capture One, or any other DAM… but miss the ability to sync pictures across all your iOS devices? With this tip, learn how to in just one click copy whatever photos you like from whatever DAM you like into Photos, so they show up on all your devices.

This tip originally came from Tom Siko's website, and I've enhanced the technique a bit and of course recorded a full video demo. Enjoy!

Before 10.12 I was able to use a watch folder that would take my photos being downloaded wirelessly to the computer and import them.  The Automator action from Automated Workflows checked to see if the photos were finished downloading before it would import them into Aperture.  Since I always do a fresh install when I upgrade the OS the action installer from the Mac App Store no longer works and has been removed.  If I still had the actions though they still work with 10.12.
